The mission of Ballet Elite is to inspire and empower individuals through the art of dance with the focus on classical ballet training.  We are dedicated to providing access to high quality dance education, fostering artistic excellence, and promoting inclusivity.  Ballet Elite aims to cultivate a passion for dance by offering comprehensive training programs, performances, and out-reach initiatives that enrich the lives of our community.

Ballet Elite produces a full staged Nutcracker every December.  We have open auditions for our Nutcracker in late August.  High level ballet classes also participate in spring excerpts in our June recital each year.

Ballet Elite participates in Regional ballet competitions, including Youth American Grand Prix and California Dance Classics.  Variations are invitational per the Director, Assistant Director, and Ballet Director.

Ballet:

Our ballet classes are based on a 8-level curriculum starting from pre-ballet to pre-professional and taught with the classical ballet method.

All of our ballet classes engage in barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations. Our ballet classes are progressive and educational yet fun and positive for ballet students of all ages.

Class placement is based on the annual exam. New students can try level 1 or set up a private assessment to determine class level.

Ballet Performance Classes:*Recital Performance-Based Class.

Ballet Technique Classes: *Non-Recital - Technique Class.

Pointe:

All Pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet techniques while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations. These exercises work on strengthening the feet and ankles.

*Pointe is an invitational class, recommended by their Ballet teacher and approved by the Director and Ballet Director. It requires sufficient strength, technique, and anatomical readiness to support the demands of pointe shoes.

Pre-Pointe: This is a non-performance technique-based class that prepares the student for Pointe 1 and higher.

Pointe 1 and higher: *Recital Performance-Based Class.
