Dress Code

At The Elite Dance Center we have a fun dance store called Twirl.

They carry all required dance shoes and attire in our dancewear store.

Give them a call with any question about dance attire or team wear.

 

Class

 Boys Girls

Team Rehearsals

 Sweatpants, leggings or tights,

T-shirt, Appropriate shoes.

 Any dance or workout attire may be worn. Appropriate shoes.
Combo/Preschool Black sweatpants (or tights for ages 10 and up), white T-shirt, black ballet shoes.

Leotard or ballet dress of any color with solid pink tights, and any colored ballet shoes. Hair must be up.

Students may also wear ballet skirts and tutus. (Black tap shoes or Black Jazz shoes may be required; pink ballet shoes are required for performances)

Ballet I-IV (Pre-Ballet)

 Black sweatpants (or tights for ages 10 and up), white T-shirt, black ballet shoes. Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. (Pink pointe shoes may be required.) Skirts may also be worn. Hair in a bun

Jazz I-IV (Pre-Jazz)

 Black sweatpants or tights, white T-shirt, black jazz shoes. Any dance or workout attire may be worn. All tops must be form fitting. NO SWEAPANTS and SWEATSHIRTS:

Tan Jazz shoes

Tap I-IV (Pre-Tap)

 Black sweatpants, white T-shirt, black tap shoes. Any dance or workout attire may be worn. All tops must be form fitting. NO SWEATPANTS and SWEATSHIRTS:

Black Tap Shoes
Contemporary/Lyrical Black sweatpants or tights, white T-shirt, no shoes.

Any dance or workout attire may be worn. All tops must be form fitting. NO SWEATPANTS and SWEATSHIRTS:

Pirouette shoes

Leaps & Turns

 Black sweatpants or tights, white T-shirt, Pirouette shoes .

Turn Board + Stretch Band Required.

 Any dance or workout attire may be worn. All tops must be form fitting. NO SWEATPANTS and SWEATSHIRTS:

Improv

 Black sweatpants or tights, white T-shirt, Bare feet or Socks Any dance or workout attire may be worn. All tops must be form fitting. Bare feet or Socks

Acrobatics

 Black leggings, white T-shirt, barefoot. Any colored Leotard and leggings must be worn. Leotards only are NOT allowed. Bare feet only

Aerial Silks

 Any colored T-shirt w/ sleeves and leggings must be worn.

NO street cloths. Bare feet only

 Any colored Leotard, T-shirt (w/ sleeves), and leggings must be worn. Leotards only are NOT allowed, NO CROP TOPS. Bare feet only

Hip-Hop

 Comfortable clothing (No Jeans)

Hip Hop / Jazz sneakers required.

No street clothes! Please wear dance attire such as leggings, and tight tops and shirts. NO SWEATSHIRTS:

Specific Black High Tops required.
